3 Easy Tips for Pulling Off the Maxi Skirt!

#1: Define that waist! Becareful not to hide your gorgeous figure under too much fabric. Adding a belt, like Olivia Palermo did with her motorcycle jacket/printed skirt combo, or as seen on a model from J. Crew's spring 2011 presentation, will give you a distinct silhouette and help emphasize the slimmest part of your body!!

#2: Show a little skin Add a little flash of flesh to keep your maxi skirt far from grandma territory. Opt for a deep-plunging v-neck, a crop top, or a sleeveless turtleneck to remind people that you've got a hot  bod under that super-long skirt.

#3: Mind your proportions  If you've got some curves, flaunt 'em in a tucked-in fitted top; if you're keen on keeping your bum covered, go for a boyfriend blazer and cinch it around the middle.

Slither Away

If you took a look at the Red Carpet recently, you might notice that more and more celebrities are sporting a slithering trend! There was a time when leopard spots ruled among all animal prints, but that time has passed. Fashion-forward wearers of the wild prints are shedding their feline layers for snakeskin. This reptile alternative is just as luxurious, but also carries a bit more attitude and edge. Pair it with bright and bold pieces to complete the look! Check out our fabulous snakeskin sheer top as seen below! It will be sure to make a slithering statement!
